I and Ban were walking down the streets of the nosy village, glancing at the windows of stores to see if there was anything we found interesting to either steal or to buy. Looking to my left I saw children were holding hands with their parents, people laughing together, looking so innocent. Everything today felt so calm as if the war never happened. The humans here, don't know that they chose the wrong side of the war, they chose the wrong side. 

 Looking over at Ban I saw his hands behind his head as he looked forwards, noticing my gaze he looked down at me with a questioning facial expression. "What?" Ban asked, though I just blankly looked at him. "Nothing, just thinking." I answered though all he gave me was a disbelieving look in response which cause me to look away. "Tell me, we have all day you know." Ban offered.

'Should I tell him? This might be dangerous...he might figure it out. They may not seem smart, but people can pretend. I'll just say some stuff and hope he'll but it.' 

"I was just thinking about how much I learned and saw today, there are so many things that are just so interesting and mysterious that I think it will take forever to uncover." I said, feeling a gaze on me I turned my head towards him only to not see him there.

Confused, I stopped walking and turned around, hoping that he may behind me only to see him not there. "Ban? Oh Merlin, where could he have gone now?" I whispered to myself, furrowing my eyebrows I turned around and walked down the street that was still bustling with people running all around.

There were too many people, and my height didn't help me either since everyone here was way too tall, seriously just think of the amount of bad luck that I have is just sad. Trying to peer over other people's shoulders I was able to find a wisp of blonde hair goes inside an alley near a barbershop.

'Meliodas!' Pushing past people I began to run towards the alley as fast as I could. However, once I reached the alley there were no people inside, not even Meliodas. 'Strange, I thought I saw his hair, wait, why would Meliodas even be here? Somethings wrong...' Allowing some darkness to cover my left hand I walked inside the alley as I put my guard up. 

As I walked closer towards the end I felt someone grip my shoulder, turning around quickly I kicked in where the sun don't shine only to hear a grunt come from a male...wait, isn't that Ban? "Damn, a simple hello would have been good." Looking down I saw him laying down on the ground and clutching his crutch.

"Oh, sorry Ban, next time don't scare me like that." I apologized to him. Suddenly, my nose picked up a scent of blood on the end of the alley where it was all dark. As I went to investigate further Ban gripped my hand as he pulled me outside of the alley. 

"It's fine, just don't do that ever again, got it?" Nodding, he turned around as we continued to walk down the street we once walked earlier. 'Wait, where was Ban?' 

"Hey, Ban, where were you? When I stopped explaining what I was thinking I turned around and found you gone." I asked though Ban paused momentarily only to resume walking again. 'Weird.' Sensing that Ban stopped walking I also stopped walking, looking up at him my face came in contact with a small case that looked as if it was holding inside a necklace.

"Saw something and I thought it looked pretty so I decided to get it for you. This is just a welcome gift and nothing more, understand?" Ban asked with a hint of pink on his cheeks, though all I did was nod as I grabbed the case.

Walking a bit more I could feel the ground become softer, are we out of the village? Looking up I saw as we came closer towards the forest that leads us to the Boar Hat. "Finally at the forest, now put it on, I want to see if I used my skills for something useful." Ban said with a judging face. 'Wait, skills? Oh, he must have stolen it.'

Sitting down on the ground, which forced Ban to also go down with me, I opened up the case to see probably the most expensive thing all day. "You really can steal anything, can you?" I asked though I could feel my eyes wide, the skills needed to steal something like this, is he a god? "Yep, now for the real test. Help me with your hair and turn around for me to put it on you." Doing as he said I turned around and helped with my hair as much as necessary. Feeling the coldness of it made me shiver a bit, but once I got used to it I looked down to see the Sun making it shine beautifully.

"Not only do you have good stealing skills, but you also have good jewelry taste." I said with an impressed tone. "I know, now turn around for then I can see the fruits of my labor." Doing as Ban said I turned around. Once I stopped admiring the necklace I looked up at Ban only for his eyes to seem to be in a daze.

"Hey, Ban. Are you okay?" I asked, worry clear in my voice. Still looking at his face I saw his eyes snap from his daze as he blinked a couple of times. "Yeah, yeah I'm okay. You look...okay in the necklace, but remember this is just a-." 

"I know already, okay? This is just a gift, and nothing more. Now, can we go back? Meliodas might start worrying." I interrupted him, but seriously, Meliodas could be worrying by now as well as the others.

"Alright, come on, grab my hand." Ban demanded, letting out a silent sigh I lifted my dominant hand and placed it on top of Bans as he gripped it tightly. Hosting me up we began to walk back towards the Boar Hat.

Ban opened the door as I went in, looking around I still saw nobody up. Walking further in I sat down in one of the closest stools as I rested my head on top of the table. "Tired are we?" Hearing a familiar voice I turned my head forward only to see Meliodas cleaning a cup with a wide smile on his face, though his eyes...

"Yeah, both of us woke up early and went to the village close to here." Ban said as I heard him sit on the stool next to me, looking back at Ban I saw his face with a neutral expression, but a frown managed to make a way to his face. "Oh? I see you two must have had a lot of fun." Meliodas spoke, though there was a strain in his voice when he spoke. "Yes, both of us had a lot of fun. Look, I even got her a necklace. Show him (Y/N)." Ban answered, though his final words made me look at both of them. Once his command managed to process through my head I got up and showed Meliodas the necklace.

"Really beautiful...Hey, (Y/N, Wanna help me in the kitchen?" Meliodas asked with puppy dog eyes, and how can I say no to puppy dog eyes? Your right, I cant. 

"Sorry Capn, but (Y/N) cant help you. I don't want to risk my gift to her being damaged, you can understand that, right?" Turning towards Ban I saw him star directly at Meliodas with the weirdest glint in his eye. "That's fine, she can just take it off. Right, (Y/N)?" Meliodas asked, looking at me and avoiding the burning gaze of Ban. All I did was nod in response, though I suppose that was enough to make Meliodas give me a warm smile in return. "Here, Ban. Can you please take care of this while I'm gone? I don't want it to get damaged." Asking Ban, I turned around to him as I took off the necklace. 

"Yeah, sure." Giving him my necklace I placed it on the outstretched hand of Ban as gently as I could. Turning around I walked with Meliodas into the kitchen as I helped him clean up. 

"Goodmorning everyone."

"Shut up, Gowther."

Hearing multiple footsteps going down the staircase and into the first floor as I could hear them begin to sit down. "Hey, Ban, what about breakfast?" "Coming right up you lazy kids." Hearing Ban enters the kitchen he put on the apron as he got out ingredients and pans, and began to cook. As I and Meliodas were still cleaning, Ban was cooking, and the others were talking and laughing, I finally felt a bit at peace. 'It is truly a shame that I'm going to have to run away tomorrow, oh well, I think they'll manage.'
